Admission Procedure
Admissions to EMRS Jonai are conducted through a selection test as per NESTS guidelines. The school primarily caters to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students from Dhemaji District.
Eligibility Criteria
- The student must belong to a Scheduled Tribe (ST) community
- Preference to students from Dhemaji District, Assam
- Class VI admission: Age between 10–12 years as on 1st April of admission year
- Must have passed Class V from a government/government-aided school
- Annual family income: As per NESTS norms
Selection Process
- Notification published in newspapers and on school notice board
- Application forms distributed at school office (free of cost)
- Submission of completed application with required documents
- Written selection test in Mathematics, Science, and Language
- Merit list publication based on test scores
- Admission of selected candidates
Documents Required
- ST Certificate issued by competent authority
- Date of Birth certificate / Class V mark sheet
- Residential/Domicile certificate
- Income certificate of parents
- Passport size photographs (4 copies)
- Aadhaar Card (student & parents)
